Eight Screens for California Aqueduct
When you move a lot of water, you need a large screen array.
The Berrenda Mesa Water Districts’ California Aqueduct pumping station had a massive debris problem, causing high labor costs, injuries and endless headaches — until they contacted International Water Screens. We engineered and installed a large array of moss removal screens.
Now: Labor issues resolved, no racks to clean. Pump efficiencies have improved to the point where the project cost was paid —in less than 6 months — by reduced energy use. Now they’re clean and green.
This project included:
- Traveling Screen(s)
- Elevator
- Pump
- Trash Container
- Control Panel
- Head Loss Level Reader
- Filter
- Automatic Flash Filter
- Conveyor
