Traveling
water screen with spray bar
Our standard traveling
screen or fish screen, will have an internal spray bar with pressurized water
that will blow off the debris that doesn't’t fall off of the belting. International
Water Screens will provide a pump for this pressure water, or we can use domestic,
or fire water for the spray water. This will help maintain your traveling water
screen. |

Traveling
water screen hoods
International Water Screens
can provide hoods for your traveling screen. These water screen hoods will greatly
reduce any unwanted effects of overspray created by the spray water. The water
screen hoods are very popular for traveling screens located in industrial plants
or traveling water screens located near housing. |

Traveling
water screen conveyor / elevator
International Water Screens
will design and manufacture conveyors and elevators for the traveling water screen
locations. The conveyors are located just behind the traveling screens. The debris
is dumped onto the conveyor which conveys the debris to the side and can dump
onto an elevator which will direct the debris to a remote area or dump the debris
into a trash container/dumpster. Our traveling water screens offer
complete traveling screen solutions. |

Traveling
water screen debris collection
Options for collecting debris from the back side of International Water Screens Traveling Water Screens are many. From options as simple as a concrete pad, to mild steel, stainless steel and PVC troughs, to intricate conveyance systems. |
This California Water District needed to screen for aquatic plants and urban trash, for protection of pumps, sprinklers and pipelines in their system. The district wanted to install a Traveling Water Screen system, without going through extensive civil construction work. Mild steel constructed supports hold their screens in place, without any new on-site civil construction. International Water Screens installation crew installed all supports, screens, the conveyor, the elevator, pumps and filters for the internal spray wash and all piping for their screening system. The district was only responsible for providing a crane for installation and making all electrical connections. |

The two Traveling Water Screens, one Conveyor and one Elevator installed in California are screening debris prior to two 72” culvert pipes. Algae and aquatic plants are the largest issue for this End User. |
