Traveling water screens remove water debris

Before traveling water screens it was necessary to have operations personnel spend their time raking debris from trash racks. IWS traveling water screens allow operators to spend their working hours more productively, as the traveling screens will remove the debris from the waterway automatically. Whereas before the installation of a traveling water screen it took hours of manpower to remove debris from the racks, now all that is necessary is a brief daily visit (for minutes) to the traveling water screen.

We will outfit the traveling water screen with stainless steel belting with openings as tight (closed) or as large (open) as is required. Your IWS traveling water screen will be set on a timer and will come on for a set period of time, and then shut off for a set period of time. Normal traveling water screen run times are 5 minutes on 20 minutes off. These times can be adjusted to fit your needs for the traveling water screen location. If on a particular day, or days you experience extremely heavy debris in the water, simply turn the machine to the on position and the traveling water screen will run until you set the machine back into the automatic mode.
