Nebraska Inline Traveling Water Screen

Keeps canals from causing irrigation irritation.

A Nebraska irrigation district installed this IWS traveling water screen system to help protect pipelines leading as well as
pivot irrigation lines.

Previous years required repeated cleaning of pivot filters and nozzles. Since the install, they have seen dramatic reduction in downtime and less need for back-flushing of lines for clean out.

This project included:

  • Traveling Screen(s)
  • Elevator
  • Pump
  • Trash Container
  • Control Panel
  • Head Loss Level Reader
  • Filter
  • Automatic Flash Filter
  • Conveyor

Already a tumbleweed is trying to climb onto the screen, and we haven’t even started the water flowing.

Debris is elevated up and over the top, then is conveyed toward the concrete slab for easy pickup.

We design, build and install custom screens for a wide variety of customers.
