Problem: Terrible moss problem, causing trash racks to be plugged, creating a labor nightmare, with injuries from cleaning the trash racks and eventually collapsing the trash racks, low efficiencies on the pumps.
Solution: Contacted IWS for their Screening needs.
Results: Labor issues resolved, no racks to clean, pump efficiencies improved to the point where the project was paid for by the decrease in power used in less than 6 months time.

IWS traveling screens are self-cleaning through flow type traveling screens. The belting travels at a speed of 7-8 feet per minute. The internal spray bar blows off the material on the back side of the screen that doesn't fall off voluntarily.
